This procedure explains how to report copyright material. It does not identify a U.S. DMCA designated agent until the public designation has been verified.
1. Reporting infringement
Send a notice to contact@interchangingworld.com with the subject Copyright Notice. Identify the copyrighted work, the material and its location, your contact details, and enough information for IW to evaluate the request.
2. Required statements
Include a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized and a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act. Sign physically or electronically.
3. IW response
IW may request clarification, remove or restrict material, notify the uploader and preserve necessary records. IW may forward the notice, including contact information, to the uploader or relevant provider.
4. Counter-notice
An uploader who believes removal was mistaken may send a counter-notice identifying the material and prior location, explaining the good-faith basis, providing contact details and the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required by applicable law, and signing the notice.
5. Repeat infringement and misuse
IW may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Fraudulent notices or counter-notices can create liability. This procedure is not legal advice and does not limit defenses, exceptions or mandatory rights.
6. Designated-agent status
Before IW represents a person or address as a DMCA designated agent, IW will verify the U.S. Copyright Office registration and keep the public details aligned with that record. Until then, contact@interchangingworld.com is a general copyright intake channel, not a representation of verified designation.
