This Notice applies to the IW websites, learning platform, Veritas AI, subscriptions, events, support and marketing services that link to it.

1. Scope and contact

2. Information we collect

We process account and identity information; role, locale and security events; payment, customer, subscription and limited billing records received from Stripe; course enrollment, progress, playback, preferences, streaks, achievements, quizzes, scores and certificates; prompts, chat messages, learning context, AI responses and technical traces; uploaded course or support content; device, usage and consented analytics data; and event, newsletter, waitlist and communication records. Payment card credentials are handled by Stripe.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use information to provide accounts, courses, tutoring, quizzes, progress, support, subscriptions, payments, events and requested communications; secure and operate the services; personalize learning; measure reliability; meet accounting, tax, fraud, legal and dispute obligations; and send marketing where permitted. Where applicable, our bases are performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests in secure and proportionate operation, and consent for optional analytics, marketing and any consent required for a child.

4. Veritas and automated processing

Veritas is an AI system and can be inaccurate. It may generate explanations, questions, feedback and scores, but it does not replace a teacher, admissions officer, lawyer or qualified professional. Veritas output alone does not determine admission, certification, access to essential education or another legal or similarly significant result. We do not make a solely automated significant decision unless we separately explain the logic, consequences, lawful basis and available human review.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose only what is needed to providers supporting identity (Clerk), payment (Stripe), hosting and databases, media (Mux/Litix and UploadThing), AI routing and models (OpenRouter and selected model providers), consented analytics (PostHog and Google Analytics), error monitoring (Sentry-compatible services), communications (Beehiiv and Brevo), support operations and rate limiting (Upstash). We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, in a safeguarded corporate transaction, or at the user's direction. We do not sell personal information for money or use a child's data for targeted advertising.

6. International transfers

IW and its providers may process information in the United States, Brazil, the European Economic Area and other provider locations. Where required, IW uses an approved transfer mechanism, contractual safeguards and supplementary security measures.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information only for the service, legal and dispute periods in our retention schedule. AI chat content is scheduled for deletion after 365 days and detailed AI telemetry after 395 days unless a shorter user-requested deletion or a legal preservation duty applies. Transaction, tax and contract evidence may be retained for the required statutory or limitation period. Account deletion removes linked active-system records through an idempotent workflow; rolling backups expire according to the backup schedule. Deidentified information may remain only when it cannot reasonably be linked to a person.

8. Children and teenagers

People under 13 may not create an ordinary self-service account. Users aged 13 through 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required, and the guardian must agree to the Terms on their behalf. IW uses age-appropriate explanations, data minimization and high-privacy defaults and does not serve targeted advertising to minors. A guardian may contact IW to request review, correction or deletion, subject to verification.

9. Choices and privacy rights

Depending on location, a person may request access, confirmation, correction, portability, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, information about disclosures and review of an automated decision. Cookie Settings controls optional analytics and marketing messages include an unsubscribe method. Submit a request or appeal to contact@interchangingworld.com. We verify identity and authority proportionately and respond within the applicable period; a person may also complain to the relevant regulator.

10. Security, changes and contact

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk, but no system is completely secure. Report a suspected privacy or security incident to contact@interchangingworld.com. Material changes receive a new version and effective date, with additional notice or renewed consent where required.
