These Terms govern the IW websites, learning platform, Veritas AI, subscriptions, events and related services that link to them.

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms form an agreement between the person using the service, and a parent or guardian where required, and Interchanging World LLC. The order summary, applicable event rider, Subscription Terms, Privacy Notice and mandatory local consumer rules also form part of the agreement.

2. Eligibility and minors

Users must provide accurate age and account information. People under 13 may not use ordinary self-service registration. Users aged 13–17 may use the service only with parent or guardian permission where required. The guardian agrees to these Terms for the minor and supervises the account. Teachers and organizations must have authority before inviting learners or uploading learner data.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep credentials confidential and notify IW of unauthorized use. Do not break the law, impersonate or harass others, exploit minors, submit malware, bypass access, payment, rate or safety controls, scrape or reverse engineer except where law permits, upload content without rights, expose another person's sensitive data, or use AI output for a high-stakes decision without qualified human review. IW may proportionately restrict content or accounts for security, nonpayment or material breach and offers notice or appeal where required.

4. Educational scope and AI

IW provides supplemental education and career-preparation tools. Unless stated in a signed agreement, IW is not a university, accreditation body, immigration adviser, law firm or employment agency. A participation or completion certificate is not academic credit, professional licensure, admission, scholarship, employment, visa or a guaranteed outcome. Veritas is AI, may be inaccurate and must not be the sole basis for a consequential decision.

5. Subscriptions

Before purchase, IW displays the plan, included features, full amount charged, taxes or additional charges, billing and renewal cadence, renewal price, cancellation timing, refund or withdrawal rules and when access ends. An unticked checkbox records express authorization for the recurring charge. Cancellation through Billing stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period unless the offer or mandatory law states otherwise. Price changes receive required notice.

6. Events

An event purchase is governed by the displayed order summary and event rider. Only confirmed inclusions are promised. Travel, accommodation, meals, insurance and visa services are excluded unless expressly included. A ticket or invitation does not guarantee a visa, border admission, employment, scholarship, speaker access or third-party approval.

7. Payments, taxes, refunds and chargebacks

Stripe may process payments under its own terms. Customers must provide valid billing information and applicable taxes are disclosed before payment. The checkout refund rule controls subject to mandatory law. Contact contact@interchangingworld.com so IW can investigate a billing issue before a chargeback; this does not waive statutory rights. IW may correct an obvious pricing error before performance and provide cancellation or refund where required.

8. User and contributor content

The user owns original content and grants IW a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, format, transmit, display and make technical derivatives only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and provide the selected service and meet legal duties. The license ends when content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal preservation, deidentified service analytics or copies intentionally shared with others. Public marketing, resale or model training using identifiable user content requires separate clear permission. The user confirms all necessary rights and privacy permissions.

9. IW intellectual property and feedback

IW and its licensors own the service, software, branding and IW-created materials. A paid plan grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service during the term. IW may use feedback without restriction but does not claim a user's pre-existing intellectual property or personal information.

11. Availability, suspension and changes

IW may maintain, update or discontinue features while honoring mandatory notice and refund duties for paid services. Beta, proposed and approval-dependent features are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and IW disclaims implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed. IW does not disclaim a written product promise, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, personal injury, statutory consumer guarantee, privacy duty or another liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. IW's aggregate liability for a paid service is limited to the amount paid for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. The cap does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing limits non-waivable consumer rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

Florida law governs where permitted and courts in Orange County, Florida have jurisdiction, except that a consumer may rely on mandatory rights and forums of the country or state of residence. Before filing a claim, the parties should send a written description and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution. These Terms do not impose binding arbitration or a class-action waiver.

15. Contact and changes

Material changes apply prospectively and receive reasonable notice and renewed consent where required. The prior version continues to govern completed transactions unless law permits otherwise.
